ACADEMY
The Academy covers Day Care through high school.  Mr. Keith Rheinheimer, a graduate of Bob Jones University, is the administrator.  Keith has 8 years experience in Day School work and teaching in the United States, and has been teaching since 1992 in Mexico.  Qualified teachers from the United States staff the school.

American missionary wives plus a Mexican lady from one of the independent Baptist churches in Aguascalientes staff the Day Care.

The Academy program is conventional.  We do not use "Programmed Learning" (packets such as ACE).  Materials are selected from the Bob Jones University, "One-room Schoolhouse" program, Abeka Book form Pensacola Christian College, and selected material from various other sources.  Baptist missionaries, who live and work in the Aguascalientes area, teach the academy Bible classes.

The course includes time for preparing the students in Spanish, Latin Culture, and the Latin life style of all of Latin America.  Field trips are a part of the education the children receive.  These field trips allow the missionary children to observe and to study the history and culture of Mexico.

The Academy meets on the same campus as the Language Institute. The hours of the Academy coincide with the hours that of the language classes. This provides convenience for students in the Institute.

The entire campus is enclosed by a brick wall with a large gate that is closed during school hours.  Children are not allowed to leave the campus unless accompanied by their parents.  This provides security and peace of mind for the parents while they are in the  classroom.

The classes are divided and all classes are taught by qualified American teachers.  All classes are
taught in English.

The Academy included electives such as P.E.,  music, typing, and computer classes.
Generally the class size will range from 1 to 5 students to a maximum of 8 - 10.  This allows students to secure personal attention.

The kids favorite class is recess! Time is provided each day for exercise and recreation. Day Care also includes pre-school learning and activities. Children are prepared here for entering first grade
